Watson put a hand out to steady Holmes if he should need it. The offer was without comment, whether Holmes accepted it or not. Watson was already in motion, leading the way to the elevators that would take them upstairs.
The room was clinical, a typical hotel room. Watson had brought nothing of his own to the room. It was a room, but not a home. He believed his home to be back in London, with Holmes.
