Watching as Kitt gathered his things and made space to be able to actually sit down, Abby grinned a little at his comment about most Kits being women. "Well that may be true, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. I mean, beats having a name where thirty other people look up any time someone calls for you, right?" Not that Abby herself had really been victim of that herself, but she knew plenty of people who had been. And truthfully, she had a soft spot for slightly unusual names.
Unable to help but laugh lightly at the look Kitt gave her over the duck comment, Abby shook her head as he mentioned being in the wrong part of LA for duck-shouting. With a wicked smirk, she teased, "So that's where I've been going wrong. And here I thought the ducks were just ignoring me." Realising she probably wasn't helping her case any, she took a slightly more serious tone and added, "I am kidding, I promise. I mean, it's not like ducks have ever done anything to me that requires me to shout at them so why would I do that? It would just hurt their little ducky feelings." Because of course, that was the main reason for shouting at ducks being an odd thing to do.
Nodding as Kitt spoke about the conference, Abby couldn't help the slight face she pulled at the word 'shareholders'. "See, now that implies money being involved, in which case I'm not sure I want to be responsible for any losses you might incur through sending me in there. Unless you have notes. Do you have notes? Cause that might work." Pausing for a moment, she added, "Though come on, free food? That alone has got to be worth it." So maybe she couldn't actually do the meeting for Kitt, but at least she could try to help provide the silver lining and food seemed to be a pretty safe bet for that.
