Abby was glad to note the more genuine smile on the man's face as he returned the favour of introducing himself and offered his hand. Really, despite her heavy preference for black clothing and accessories that could do some serious damage if she wasn't careful, she didn't think she was that threatening and it was always nice to be proven right on the odd occasion.
With a smile, she echoed, "Kitt...I was at college with a Kit...except she was a girl, and was actually Katherine, but we called her Kit and you probably didn't really need that piece of information." As usual, Abby was operating on her usual habit of speaking without really thinking about what she was saying until after it was already out there. With a slightly apologetic grin, she assured him, "I promise I'm harmless. Or, well, mostly harmless. I mean, I talk a lot, but I'm not some crazy lady who walks around shouting at ducks or anything." And now she was probably making herself look even stranger, but then Abby had always been the sort to let people take her or leave her as she was and if they couldn't handle her weirdness then it wasn't necessarily her fault now, was it?
As Kitt went on to ask if Abby wanted to take a meeting for him, indicating the building across the street, she gave a mischievous little smile and replied, "That's where you work? Well I mean, I probably could take the meeting for you. I'm not sure how much help that would be to you, since business has never really been my area of expertise, but I could probably wing it...somehow." Not, of course, that she was actually about to take over his meeting any more than she suspected he would actually allow her to, but that didn't mean she couldn't play along, did it? Curiosity getting the better of her, she asked, "What's the meeting about, anyway?"
