Who: Kimber and Jerrica Benton
What: Catching up.
Warnings: Nah.

Through no fault of her own, or so she would claim later, Kimber's plans with Ollie had turned into Kimber's plans with Jerrica, with Ollie tagging along. He was a good sport about it, even if he did try to sneak his Green Arrow costume on under his suit and complained when he got caught. Kimber had left her earrings behind as well: for tonight, at least, they were Civilians, and all that that entailed.

To his credit, Ollie had left the cocksure superhero persona with the costume, and instead had been the charming pseudo-Errol Flynn that was hidden beneath the mask. Jerrica was declared "as lovely as her sister," and his jokes had been appropriate, for once. Kimber laughed at all the right times, and did her best to keep the conversation light; there would be serious enough things to talk about later.

After dinner, Ollie drove them home, and maintained the polite charm throughout the ride. He even went so far as to walk them to the door. Kimber let Jerrica in and told her to make herself comfortable while she said goodbye to Ollie. The quick conversation was much more demure than Kimber and Ollie's norm, but what they lacked in vulgarity they made up for in body language. Kimber winked as she suggested that she would call him later. As she turned away to return to her sister, she felt a light smack on her behind. There was a very Green Arrow look in Ollie's eyes as he returned the wink and headed off.

Unsure if she should be amused or scandalized, Kimber settled for blushing. She cleared her throat and returned her attention to her sister. "Where were we?"

Jerrica couldn't help but laugh at her little sister (or was she her big sister now? The whole time-space thing was deeply confusing to her). It seemed like yesterday, or more precisely last week, that Kimber was just a young girl with big hair vying to be a star, and now she was making dirty jokes with her super cute boyfriend who may or may not be a superhero. Oh the times they are a changin'.

"Um... you replaced a big popstar? And I replaced an up and comer. I do believe you're wearing big sis's clothes now." Jerrica laughed a bit. She didn't mind at all. She remembered being in the band and feeling like she was stealing the spotlight, when really it was Kimber that was the heart of the group. She deserved everything she had now.

"Hey maybe we can do a collaboration? You can help me be famous." She chuckled.

Kimber laughed. "There was a you here before, you know. And she replaced a school teacher. At least you landed in the same field, this time." Getting used to a second version of your sister was a little odd for Kimber, but it was probably weirder for Jerrica. "I've been on a little hiatus for a while, but I'm thinking about jumping back in."

"But yeah, we should totally collaborate on something! Stormer and I worked together on a Christmas album. And I've done some stuff with this guy named Gojyo. You should meet him, he's pretty cool." So much to talk about!

Kimber ducked into the kitchen. "Want some popcorn?" she asked as she grabbed a bag out of the pantry.

	"It's okay, sis. You're excited. And I want to hear it, all of it. Still won't make it any easier to get used to, but I'll manage." Jerrica smiled a bit. "And you should know that I do have a sense of humor. I won't be mad if he says something like that. And besides, aren't in-laws supposed to bicker?" She smiled.
