Who: Tenel Ka Djo & Jacen Solo What: Reunion Where: Opposite Buckingham Palace, London Warnings: Likely none
Tenel Ka still could not believe it. Standing across the road from the beautiful palace leaning against a set of railings she saw him. Jacen, and he was younger than she remembered. But he looked so much less haunted. Oh it was still there, Myrkr, the Vong, the Swarm Wars, she knew he'd still suffered. But this was before Lumiya had gotten her disgusting cybernetic claws into the man she loved, before the beautiful eyes she saw coming toward her got so tired, so drawn, and finally tinted a colour she never would have believed possible for him.
She decided then and there she'd never tell him of Caedus. She'd find a way to lock it in her mind and never bring it up because she never wanted him to change to that. And in the end, in the very end. He'd been Jacen again.
She thought about her appearance, she was dressed quite casually for Hapes, her hair loose and flowing behind her. She supposed she was older than him by more now. But she was Hapan. She was Hapan royalty at that and she wasn't sure it was entirely visible on her face. Even if the last few years had been a strain like no other. She could hide the pain of the War. She had to. But all thoughts went from her mind when he looked back at her. The Hapan Queen broke into a wide smile and quickened her pace toward him. What else could she have done.
"Jacen" she called excitedly, all mannerism and protocol gone. There were no Hapan nobles. No rules and convention to seperate them here. Perhaps here she would be able to put aside her hurt. Allana was safe with Jacen's parents, and Hapes had her cousins if worse came to worst. If nothing else she would try.
