Bunny watches Dite disappear into the store. He looks as Ares kneels and meets his eyes. He listens to the words -- short and gruff, but Ares' voice is salm, and calming, and his words are odd but he feels like truth, and he feels safe and strong.
Bunny puts down his bag with the clothes and book and flings his arms around Ares' shoulders, clinging for all he's worth. He doesn't cry, though he sort of wants to; it's more important right now to be strong like his mother's ghost told him to be, and to hold on. To hold on and never let go.
