Kurt had also been shopping that day, but he had lucked out when it came to who he replaced upon showing up in this strange alternate universe. Instead of showing up broke as so many of the people he knew seemed to, he switched with a kid from a well off family. And the kid had a nicely stocked bank account, as well as a credit card that now said Kurt Hummel in gold letters.
When he returned to his dorm room the day before he had lots of bags with him, but they contained mostly Christmas gifts as well as one or two things for himself. This time, however, the bags held were the opposite. Mostly items for himself-clothes and other items he felt he needed-and only a couple of gifts. These gifts, however, were for Callie and his roommate, two things the blond girl didn't need to see him buying the day before.
Kurt perked his brow when he saw Puck in front of a menorah he was sure wasn't there the day before. "Well that's something I didn't expect to see," he said simply, shrugging a bit before crossing the room to place the bags on his bed. He had to hang his new clothes, after all. He couldn't let them stay in there and get wrinkled.
