Hm. Angel hadn't quite expected that reaction, and brows furrowed when he pulled back, but he nodded as Ray explained. Hands slid away, before one moved to cup Ray's cheek, leaning in to give him a chaste kiss. "It's alright, Ray," He wasn't blind to the reaction being the fault of the nickname, so decided against it.

"I can't claim to understand completely, but I ain't the type to be offended, baby. 'Sides, I shouldn't be goin' much farther anyway." Angel was going through the motions of straightening his dress and running a hand through his real hair, trying to smooth out some of the sweat.
