Mary quickly wiped her hands on her apron and and grinned, wide open and honest at him.
"Bobby! Thank you!" She hugged him, genuinley happy to see him and so very surprised and touched by his thoughtfulness. "They're beautiful. Been a long time since anyone's gotten me flowers...thank you."
She took them from him and put them aside, until she was done chopping potatoes, they'd have to wait. As she washed her hands again, she pointed with her chin to the corkscrew and glasses waiting on the center island. "Go ahead and pour, Bobby, while I finish this up. Dinner'll be in about an hour or so."
