Toki kept a proverbial eye on where Soren was. If Teja was going to run to anyone if he was going to run at all, it would be to his Safe Person, and right then, it was Soren. He squeezed Miniver's hand and smiled a little at Teja, nodding as if to prompt him to answer, to encourage him.
Teja looked over at Soren for a moment, and then to the suddenly very tall father and hippie, and then took another deep breath, muttering, "It wasn't your fault about the demons. It was about the money, though," he added only after a half a moment's pause, and then tugged the blanket tighter around him to slowly make his way into the living room. "Might as well come in, I guess."
