Toki squeezed Miniver's shoulder and shushed him lightly once he started up the front stairs of what was once the pirate's home. "Soren says he's takings care of Teja. Teja's alives again. Just relax, hokay?" He led the way up and knocked lightly on the door before peeking in, his long hair pouring over his shoulder. "Soren?" He murmured, before stepping in, opening the door wider to let Miniver in as well.
Teja's eyes went wide open at the sound of his father's voice. "Toki?" He asked, his voice piping and embarrassingly high than what he was used to. He hopped down from the couch and took a moment to adjust to his unfamiliar balance, before carefully walking to the door that led to the hall, and looked at the front door. With an expression of seriousness that would never look proper on a face so young, Teja raised a brow. "You came to check up on me?" He turned then, to see if Soren had heard them come in.
"Soren!" He shouted. His voice had the terseness and shortness that it always had, even through the high pitch.
