"Yeah, I guess." Simon shrugged. He really wasn't sure what to make of the whole thing. He'd been mowing the grass at the complex where he lived and worked maintenance, and then suddenly he found himself in a prison cell. No arrest, no trial, no warning. Most of all, no crime.
Nothing made sense, and he was having a hard time going with the flow. He'd thought he would try and beat the shit out of the first person he saw, and hope they beat the life out of him. This was not a life he wanted, he just wanted to go home. But Claire took the edge off the pain, made him think there might be a little hope in it all.
