Justine seemed a little wary of the dog, still- fair, considering his resemblance to a large pony. But once he nudged her hand, she gave in and scratched at the mane of fur around his neck, smiling down at him a little.
"When did you get a dog?"
"I've had him for years, I can't get him to leave. Oh, wait, you mean Mouse? A couple years. I can't really get him to leave, either, but at least he listens to me." The dog gave Harry a look, falling closer into step with Justine than him.
"At least most of the time,"
Once they were back on the street, Harry moved forward to flag a cab, passing Mouse's lead over to Thomas to at least make his chances of getting a ride realistic.
