The aforementioned guest was still shouting rather unbecomingly as he landed with a stumble on the other side of the portkey. He'd used magical transport before, of course, but it was always of his own devising. He knew what he was getting into, at least roughly, when he tried it. That was... different. The shout ended abruptly a second after his feet hit solid ground, and he looked around with a quick, nervous air. A small, metal clanging sounded from his wrist, a shield bracelet shaking out, which seemed to draw the attention of the dog loping around the lot. His eyes moved from her to the man on the porch, and he had the decency to look chagrined for his reaction.
"Some trip," He offered by way of greeting, letting the dog chase the tails of his duster, get his scent. Once she seemed settled, he started toward the porch, nodding towards the beer before picking it up. "Nice setup," From what he could see, it looked mostly like a scrap yard, but he felt the slight crackling of magic energies from somewhere off in the distance, interesting without being overtly threatening. He gave Bobby a politely curious glance, avoiding making direct eye contact for too long- he was feeling a bit queasy from the travel, and he didn't need to add the possibility of a soul gaze to the mix.
