She flings her arms around him one last time and squeezes as hard as she can, holding on for a minute or two before she finally lets go and steps back from him. She looks... not happier, but more at peace than she's been in a long time.
"I have to go now. Teja..." She looks out over the sea, then back at him. "I don't have the right words for this. Thank you isn't right... and neither is..." She stops, and just smiles at him. "Watch me fly. Someday you won't be able to catch me. But I'm not sure I'll ever want to outrun you. Good-bye, Teja."
She turns, pulls the hood over her head, and walks down the greying street, changing her posture and her walk instantly so that Teja watches not Sable, but by the walk alone, her own father walk away.
