Henn had crashed out for an hour-long nap after she'd had copious amounts of growlysex with Cass. It had been a long week and she had finally been tired. Of course, once she'd slept she was fine again, if a little happy-overworked sore, she shuffled down the stairs in her PJs, actual PJs this time, since she didn't want to cause anybody any injuries, especially accidental ones.

She stretched as she meandered into the kitchen, Kitten draped over the back of her neck, chirping a contented sing-song.

	Brend was busy making a little salad of braised octopus with confit fingerlings, tomato sofrito, potato foam and olive toast. For him, it was a light lunch, fun and practical. He turned his head when he heard someone behind him, turning and smiling at Henn. "Hey, you. I know you don't eat, but do you want some juice?" (Reply to this)

She'd only barely heard him over the stretch, blinking when she realized that he was there, "I could go for some juice." She said, nodding, followed a moment later by: "And I eat, just y'know, not the same amount as most people." She rummaged around in the cabinet for a moment before coming up with her tea set, it was pale pink and had sparkly pressed fairies on it, Torii had re-decorated it for her a while back.

	"I just squeezed some orange juice, go for it." He smiled and grabbed her a glass, but then saw the tea set. "That's adorable," he couldn't help but grin. (Reply to this)

She rinsed out the diminutive teapot before filling it with juice, it was a little less than a glassful and just about as much as she'd drink, "Torii made it for me, she said the pink and petals was too plain, so she put the fairies on and had it re-glazed. She says that she caught and pressed them herself." She shook her head, pouring herself a miniature cup of juice with a practiced movement, "I love that kid."

	"Things have been busy." She nodded, sipping at her juice, pinky up and everything, leaning back against the counter, "And I think we're usually on kind of opposing shifts, which works, but doesn't work, y'know?" A shrug then, "I'm doing good, just slept for like..." She checked the clock on the microwave, "Hell, almost two hours. That's got to be a new record." (Reply to this)

She laughed softly at that, shaking her head, "I don't need it? I used to, well, used to need more than I do now." She shrugged, "Figure it's on account of finally finding who I'm supposed to be a Shadow for, y'know? Same with food, I used to eat more than I do now, not much, but definitely full servings, and I also used to be able to energy-leach off of basically anyone, now I can't."

She ruffled his hair right back, mostly because she could, "Yeah, kind of happens when you're married to somebody." She shrugged, "Or married happens because of the close, which is kind of how it was in our case, I think."

She shrugged, pouring herself another teacup of juice, "Could be worse, I could only be able to leach off of people who want to hump me, that's how my ma's works."

	She very nearly got orange juice up her nose at that, setting the cup down so she could laugh and cough at the same time, shaking her head, "Yeah, that's about how it works. 	She shrugged, leaning over to snag the teapot cookiejar, mostly just to see what was in it, but gleemoting when there were chocolate chip snickerdoodles, nibbling at one as she answered, "She lived on a pirate island for most of it, so ... uh... huh." She snickered at that, pointing at him with her gnawed-upon cookie, "You might have a point with that." She shrugged, "It's like now it's easier for me to pull off people who are like Cass in some way? Soren's the next easiest, thanks to their link, but family'd probably be next easiest after that. I can still pull off Bill and Jack pretty easy." She shrugged, "I don't even start to profess that I know how it works."

She shrugged, resting her fingers lightly against his palm, the contact wasn't strictly necessary, but it made things easier, especially if she was going to have to work at it, "If it works like it should, you won't feel any different, a little less stressed, maybe, little less wired, but that's because I'll just be taking off the excess, whatever's been colored outside the lines, so to speak."

Her brow creased, just slightly, not concentrating on it too hard, just feeling out the edges to see if she could nip them off, nodding finally and pulling her hand away, "Yep, it works, you feel any different? I didn't take much, just enough that I'll be able to do it a little smoother next time."

	"I like granola bars, and I like muesli, especially fresh, but I don't really like actual granola that much."
