"It was definitely my pleasure, mate," Anthony said, grinning. He squeezed Charles' shoulder. "I'll be honest, my friend. I think this is how it always should've been. I remember her with Henry and I've never seen her as happy as she is with you. I think finding ourselves in this place has been the best thing. For you and Jane both."
The music started, indicating Jane's imminent arrival. Edward smiled at his mother, thinking she looked gorgeous in the sheath gown with lace that fit to her slender form perfectly. He had seen a few painted images of when she and his father had married, but they did not compare to the image she made now. Her hair was a soft flow of curls draped onto of her head, a few curls escaping to brush her shoulders. The chapel had provided a lovely bouquet for her.
Jane felt as if she were on cloud nine, especially when she looked down the aisle and saw Charles standing there, waiting for her. Smiling brightly as the music began, Edward and Jane began walking towards him.
