Death laughed. "Thank you." She was sure she'd probably had a few other brilliant ideas, but lately? Taking Lois out was one of the best that she'd done this week.
"Emotions... are different. I mean," she paused for a minute to think. "I can forget to feel cold. Sometimes I walk through tundras and I don't feel anything until I go stop and think, oh yes, it's cold here. But I can't forget that I'm sad." She shrugged, "I think I can be more detached because of what I am. But I still feel things."
