Lois needed a hug. It said a lot that she hung on for a few seconds more she might normally have.
"I don't really remember if I had dinner or not," Lois shrugged one shoulder. "But don't tell Jason I said that," she remarked with a half-grin.
"Oh." Lois hadn't meant anything by what she said. "Didi, I'm never even home. Don't worry. We still talk... just a lot's happened. I think it only seems awhile."
