who. Lois Lane and Death
what. Waffles. Need I say more?
when. Recently
where. London

Death knew how relationships worked. Beyond being part of one, she also had seen so many people come and go that she could probably have worked a side job as a couples therapist if the urge to do so ever struck her. Lois had been having some trouble with Clark. And beyond that, her son had shown up at least a decade older than he should have been. Having as much knowledge as she did, Death knew the sort of thing that would do Lois good. There was no better cure for a rough patch than waffles.

Death didn't appear in the middle of Lois' apartment. That would have been rude and would probably caught Lois off guard. Instead, she made herself show up right in front of Lois' door. After a knock, Death rocked back on her heels and waited for a response. She hadn't really given her friend a warning for this outing. She felt Lois could use the pleasant response.
