James Wilson rarely took time during the day to relax, or even eat sometimes. Summer classes were keeping him very, very occupied as he worked both at school and at the hospital interning and shadowing one of the oncologists there. With everything he was doing, Wilson was set to graduate the following summer and then would be able to start his residency at the hospital which was exciting to think about. However he couldn't get there without doing a lot of work, which he was learning slowly but surely.

Arriving home Monday evening with a growling stomach and a bag full of books weighing him down a little bit he dropped his bag at the door of his apartment and shut the door. He made a bee line for the kitchen, rummaging around in the fridge to find something to eat. In the back of his mind he wondered if House was home, but food was the first thing on his agenda.

Sitting back in the bedroom was Greg House, high as a kite and listening to a jazz album he had put on-he didn't even remember which. He had his eyes closed, and heard the door but assumed it was Wilson and assumed the man would just come through eventually, so he wasn't going to get up. He had gotten back to the house an hour previous, his own interning ending early due to personality conflicts between himself and a few other interns. In other words, he had gotten into a fight, and had a black eye for it.

Not that he was feeling it, head tilted back on the head board, body propped up on pillows, and mind just floating along with the notes of the piano on the record player.

Once Wilson had made, and eaten, a sandwich and some chips he finally felt he could successfully locate his lover-roommate-husband type if he was home. He gulped down a glass of water before padding down the hallway, peeking his head into the bedroom.

"Hey, House." Stepping more into the room he smiled at the sound of jazz, ignoring the smell of weed. It took him a moment but he noticed the black eye and immediately frowned. "What happened to your eye?" Wilson made his way over to the bed, kicking off his shoes before crawling onto it, leaning in to inspect his lover's bruise.

	Cracking one eye open, House looked at Wilson, "What eye?" He asked, arching the brow over the eye in question, and taking the chance to reach for the joint still burning beside him in an ash tray, picking it up to have a long toke. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Was just trying to gauge how bad it was." Wilson pressed a kiss to House's temple before sliding off the bed. He headed into the kitchen and pulled an ice pack out of the freezer. Then he wrapped it in a dishtowel before taking it back to House. "Here." He offered as he sat beside his lover on the bed. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Figured as much." Wilson wasn't a big fan of pot, to be honest, but he wasn't about to get House to stop using it. That would have probably just led to a fight, and that wasn't what he wanted right then. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
