Who: Remy LeBeau & Samira
What: Dancytiems!
Where: Tapas & Salsa Dance place that Sami knows about
When: Night-time!
Warnings: None likely.

Sami had ducked into the Pit, just to tell the staff that she wouldn't actually be coming in, because at least half of them had expected her to, even with the cook's ban.

After that, however, she was perched on a bench outside, most of her tail curled up under it, but enough of a curve to sit on the bench itself. She hadn't been understating the lack of booty, she was snake from the waist down, sleek shiny scales like a boa or a python, but with the same patterns as a diamondback rattlesnake, and she had a rattle, though it was tucked into the coil of tail under the bench.

She was keeping an eye on passers-by, looking wholly amused at the world in general as she waited for her escort.

Remy LeBeau was, as always, swaggering down the street in well-cut dancing clothes that had that rumpled look without actually trying that came with being a charming rogue. He knew the bar Samira ran, actually a patron of the little shindig, and was taking the staight route from portkey to the joint.

His smirking grin grew wider when he saw her, looking quite the sight. Before any bolder men came by, he popped over, dipping a bow to her.

"And I was right, nothin' ol anywhere in sight, mademoiselle."

She laughed at that, miming skirt-spreading and dipping into her version of a curtsey as she slid off the bench, "I'll have you know I'm at least old enough to be your granmama." She winked then as she unfolded, she usually 'stood' at about 5'9" since that was a comfortable resting height, "But I appreciate the sentiment all the same."

She tilted her head then, hair falling in a deft, practiced, sweep over her shoulder, "So, shall we?"

"Den I'll pay extra close attention to everyt'ing," he winked and offered her his arm. "Mebbe learn a few tricks for making pretty girls giggle."

When they began to walk, he walked at a casual speed to match her motions, grinning like a kid with a candy. "Now why did a bunch of flour-slingers throw you out of your establishment, Cheri?"

She beamed at that, taking the offered arm and patting his hand, "I just bet you will."

There was an utterly melodramatic sigh at the question, putting her free hand to her forehead in a classic 'woe is me' gesture, "Oh it was terrible, just terrible, they called me 'ma'am', and I believe I heard the phrase 'with all due respect' and of course after that they said that they liked having me around of course, but not on my days off." She shrugged, "I'm pretty sure I'll recover easy enough though, I just need a hobby or something, right?"

She moved at an easy, half-swaying pace that was almost strides, but too fluid for that.

"Those savages!" He gasped back. "Well, dey don't pull any punches do dey? How inconsiderate to you!"

He smiled at her, enjoying a good sense of humor and a pretty view. "Oh a hobby, hmm? Yes, somet'ing to distract you for de horrible treatment."

"Although, dey have a point. If you only spend your time in dere, how can you lure in more customers?" He winked at her. "PR's a bitch, no?"

"Then cheers to her for her honorable work," he toasted, then grinned. "I would love to see some of de patrons walking out of de place, startled and lighter a few tacky pieces."

"She might just need the side job to release de stress. Nothin' like tradin' insults and playin' off people hittin' on you after havin' to deal with nigglin' details and over-priced opponents.'

"You, sir, have a good point." She shrugged, "Like I said, not going to tell her she can't come back, she's got family she should spend time with too though."

She shook her head, smile emerging once more, "And she doesn't take the tacky right off of people, at least, I've never seen her do it, goes and gets it from second-hand shops before people can take it home or give it to someone else."

She smiled at that, shaking her head, "I'll let her know next time I see her. Know she's been practicing, I get updates."

She gave the menu a precursory glance herself, just to make sure it hadn't changed since the last time she'd been in, "Can't recommend any of the carnitas or the chicken, since I haven't had it myself, but if it's anything like the fish and the veggies, it'll be mighty tasty."

"Den a few plates of all four won't be too bad, no? Do like some persian grilled eggplant myself."

The waiter swept by with a refill and their orders, disappearing rather admirably.

"Just right, as always." She said with a smile, wiping her fingers before rolling another bundle together, "And I wasn't going to point it out, that's entirely counterintuitive, hm?"

She rolled her shoulders, not really a shrug so much as a stretch and settle, tail-rattle still flickering in time with the music.

He waved down a waiter, asking for their dark chocolate dessert with fresh marshmallows, fruit, pound cake, brownies... "I am now very glad we made room. Dis will be bon."

She nodded at that, "I'm all for giving blame as blame's due, and having the grace, and the stones, to step up to it goes a long way both towards being sensible and away from it. Just one of those things that people are good at."

Another crooked little smile, the kind that weren't anywhere near as shy as she liked to pretend, "My favorite space captain, John Sheridan, said: 'if our simian ancestors had seen this coming, they'd have said 'to hell with the opposable thumbs, let's just stay in the trees!' It's good for all sorts of situations."

He laughed again. "I like dat, gotta remember dat for later. He would have said de same if he came from my place. Evolution's over-rated."

Well, except for the adventure, craziness and fun that normal people could only dream of.
