Silas helped her around the bodies. He'd have to take care of that, later. She was his priority, just then. He led her through the empty church, to the far side. He'd thought it best, when she arrived, that they keep to opposite sides of the church. Now, he wasn't so sure.
The bodies he had beheaded littered the sanctuary, but they had not gotten to his room. He ushered her inside, and shut the door. He didn't lock it as he usually did, and hoped she knew he only closed the door in case there were still zombies about the church.
