Henn's automatic reaction to the hair-chewing was to reach up and gently tuck it behind his ear where he couldn't get it as easily, sliding to the floor to give Sable more room, giving her a smile of thanks, knowing that Sable would probably be better at un-ruffling his feathers than she would be.
