Mexico was warm, according to the weather Steve had looked up on it, so he stood in front of his closet contemplating what to wear to dinner. Part of him wanted to go more formal and appear to be a real gentlemen, but formal also meant warm clothes and that was, as Mexicans would say, no bueno. So he was leaning more toward shorts and a t-shirt, but upon looking he found his summer clothes to be in a rather sad mess. Resting a hand on his hip he frowned at his closet, displeased with what little it had to offer. It was becoming clear to him that a shopping trip was in order sometime in the near future.

For the moment, he'd had to suffer with a pair of khaki cargo shorts and a light blue polo shirt. Pulling those over his muscular body he pulled on a pair of sandals and then headed out to find the nearest portkey which landed him not far from Olivia's place. Easily jogging the short distance, since he had been feeling rather lazy as of late, he came to the door and paused, smoothing out his shirt. Finally he knocked and then waited, shifting his weight from foot to foot.

Meanwhile Olivia was having the same problem pretty much. It was rare for her to wear anything but a pants suit, but that wasn't really conducive to dating. So after she showered and got herself something nice to wear, which turned out to actually be a dress (shocking, I know) she waited around for Steve to show up. She'd say the dress was because simply that it was warm in Mexico. But it had been far too long since she'd worn one.

Opening the door and smiling when she saw him, "Hey," she greeted. She no longer looked at him and saw her dead ex partner. She saw Steve for who he was, as his own person. The whole look alike thing seemed to be just a coincidence. "You look nice."

	Taken aback by the dress, Steve just sort of stared blankly for a moment. She was beautiful and he was breathless. Though he finally realized he was staring and a sheepish smile took over, a hand moving to scratch the back of his head. "You look beautiful. Well, you always look beautiful but...wow." 	She couldn't help but grin at the expression on his face. It wasn't very often that she got to surprise someone like that. "Well thank you. I know, I never dress up. I just thought, I might as well? 	Olivia laughed, "I'll try but I don't own many dresses. In fact, this is probably the only one I own. I guess I should go shopping." She took his arm, smiling back at him. "Yes, let's. 	"I sure hope so." If it wasn't fun, then what would be the point of it? Smiling to himself as he led her along they eventually reached the portkey and before long they were in Cancun. 	Once they were in Cancun she relaxed a bit because it was so nice out and everything. She liked walking on the beach too. "Their beaches are so much.. their sand is different, I think I like it better," she said to make conversation while they walked to the Mexican restaurant. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Then I'll look for the sign that says free margaritas.. how's that?" she was half teasing, but if she found a sign like that? They were totally going. Once they got off the sand and onto the strip, she looked around for a good place to eat and finally pointed to one. "I like that place." It looked smaller and more cozy. 	"That's true. Left over mexican can be pretty good." Maybe she'd order empanadas and enchiladas. Yeah that was a hard one. The waitress brought them their margaritas, and then Olivia ordered what she wanted with a smile. (Reply to this) (Parent)
