Her mother did it first, in fact, it was what her mother did. Then Anteros had done it, using a closet in her room at Troy. Now SHE was going to do it, only she was going to do it with three places, and hopefully, it was going to work and well.

She had a surprise for Sam.

Using a spare room in the massive mansion that he, she, his brother, Bela, John, Mary, Che and Robbie lived in in London, she created a link to the palace at Troy. The door didn't open into a spare room any longer, but rather straight into her suite at Troy - the sitting room to be exact.

From there, she added a second space, using another exit in that same room and created the link to the ranch she had bought for him in Texas. A very large ranch, complete with horses and cows and the people to run it when he wasn't there. A house and stables and the horses? Well, a few of those, she'd picked herself. Her father had taught her a few things.

And back at the Winchester Compound, she created a second door with a second room that led straight to the ranch. Now, all she had to do was show Sam. He'd given her an amazing gift for his birthday and now, for hers, she was going to return the favor. No more dizziness for him.

Standing in his room, she called for him. "Sam?"

Not like the baby would know, but the thought was nice, awww. In fact, his reaction was the one she'd been waiting for and her face lit up again.

"Of course we can go look. Go! Look!" Where? Oh! "Texas. In Texas, I'm not sure- um... but yes, horses. Four or six... I chose some of them myself, so the stallions are an exceptional touch, but..."

Reaching up, she took Aidan from him gently. "Go. It's all yours, darling."

It might have been the onlt time he'd ever relinquished his snuggle time with his son, willingly. Anne took Aidan and he stepped through the closet door. Like Narnia..., he thought.

He stepped into the house that Anne had chosen just for him and fell in love. He made his way to the front door and opened it. The full blast of Texas sunshine hit him square in the face and Sam swore he felt the Vitamin D surge down to his bones. This was exactly what he wanted, and needed. And his wonderful wife-to-be had thought of it all on her own.

As Anne watched him meander through the house she'd chosen, she felt his excitement and happiness bubble forth. It made her so happy that he was happy, it really did.

Hugging the baby close to her, she kissed the top of his sweet little head and sang a short lullaby in Greek. "Aidan has a nursery here and your- our room, is that way." She motioned. "You do like it, don't you?"

	Sam wandered through the house, radiating excitement. "Like? No. I LOVE THIS HOUSE." He smiled, then bounded over to her like an over excited Labrador puppy. "You picked this out, just for me?" It was hard to wrap his mind around, honestly, that someone would put this much thought and effort into a gift soley just for him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Just for you," she told him, positively beaming. Sunglasses had appeared to match the Texas sun and she had changed into a sundress to match. Aidan's clothes had shifted as well and she continued holding her son tightly, she was so excited. "I went with what I thought you'd like best. I'm so glad you do." (Reply to this) (Parent)
