Why: Pregnant lady needs some taffy

Petit had found her shoes, and she'd found a purse, and Toto, her crab-size-and-shaped Shadow was perched on her shoulder, right where he usually sat.
She was wearing one of the shirts that Henn had given her for mother's day, the one that said 'does this shirt make me look pregnant?' mostly because it made her laugh since she'd only just started to show.

She was doodling a map while she waited, going over a mental checklist, the same as she always did while waiting for anything.

Remy found the address at the right time he had told Petit and looked up. He could, like a mature adult and lawyer for the public, go up the stairs to pick her up for their taffy run.

Or he could indulge his old habits.

He grinned and walked around the building, finding some pipeware and trellis, a classic approach. He scrambled up, shoes barely slipping against the brickwork, and perched on the wrought-iron railing in front of the window.

He knocked on the glass and waved at her with a smile.

She couldn't help but smile crookedly, shaking her head as she popped the window open, "Still using the Highroad, huh?"

The manor was very like the Guildhall, at least, it was very like her Guildhall, just turned around the other way, a left-to-right mirror image with the front and the back in the same place.

She shrugged then, still smiling crookedly, "Could go out the same way."

	"It'll make anyone vibrate, Cheri." Remy sipped his, hissing as the scorching drink. "Ya gotta drink enough to develop a tolerance." The croissant and a plate of twists arranged like a magnolia bloom appeared and the woman ruffled Remy's hair, like this was an everyday occurrence.
