Warnings: I'd imagine blood and stuff at the very least.

Remy had been working on patients charts when there had been someone needing help. Though she didn't know if anyone else had responded, being the helpful doctor that she was, she figured out what was going on and immediately took off. It didn't take her but a minute to get to the port key that would take her to Vegas.

She'd brought everything she could think of that she'd need with her as she arrived at her destination. Once she got there, she headed for the back of the ranch as fast as she could. Hopefully she wouldn't be too late.

Ellery met her at the gate, shouting for her to come on. He rushed back to his dad's side. Cian was on the ground, on his back. His eyes were open, and he blinked at Thirteen. "What'd you do?" He looked at Ellery.

"You were hurt, Dad. I called a doctor."

Cian drew an arm up to scrub a hand at his face. "I'm fine, really," he tried to smile for Thirteen. The fact he probably couldn't get up, was beside the point.

Following the boy back around to the side, she spotted the man on the ground and rushed over, kneeling down beside him. Well at least he was conscious and could talk, that was good. "Well you're not knocked out, so you probably will be. I'm Dr. Hadley. Can you move your hands and your feet for me?"

She just wanted to make sure that he hadn't really hurt something. Meanwhile, she went up near his head so that she could see if he was cut, bumped, bleeding or anything else.

He had a knot at the side of his head, half obscured by his hairline, and a bruise forming under his eye. "I think I broke my arm," he said, lifting his left arm and giving it support with the right. "But I'm fine." He moved his legs too, to make his point.

"He's a good kid. Over reacts, sometimes."

Ellery shook his head. "You were hurt, Dad. You wouldn't wake up."

"I'm awake now."

First she checked his head, making sure that he wasn't bleeding. "Okay, are you having any kind of double vision or blurriness?" She asked, holding up three fingers. "How many fingers am I holding up?"

Yeah the whole not waking up thing worried her. It was best to just get him back to the hospital and then figure it out there. "We're going to get your arm checked, don't try and move it. But I'm going to get you a CT scan, just to check for a concussion, okay?"

"Things happen. You shouldn't be embarrassed especially if something is actually wrong. And if you blacked out, something is most definitely wrong." And she didn't even mean his broken arm. "So can we please get you checked out so that we can find out what's going on?"

She wasn't going to push, it was up to him. But she'd be willing to get him to the hospital if he wanted to go.

"I like ice cream. Can I dad? Can I have some ice cream?" Ellery asked, as Cian struggled to sit up. He knew he wasn't going to get up on his feet any time soon, but he managed to sit up.

"Yeah, sure. Why don't you go inside and pack a couple of your books and stuff? Who knows how long we'll be at the hospital." He found a small smile for Ellery, and the boy went off toward the house.

"I don't want him to worry too much. I'm fine, really, but I'll go get my arm looked at, at least."

Though it didn't look like she was assessing him, in fact she kept watching him to make sure that he didn't have any symptoms of a concussion or anything like that. But she'd let him take his time and be there to help him up if necessary when he was ready.

She glanced back at the kid running inside the house and then back over at him. "I'll make sure that he doesn't worry. And once we get the arm x-rayed and figure out how bad it is, you'll be on your way." Though she might sneak a CT scan in there if she could.

"You.. did hit your head, but yeah. I said alternate universe. That tornado thing? It dropped you here. It does that to everyone." How he couldn't have noticed that, she had no idea. "I know I sound crazy, but I swear. Everyone is connected through these things.." she reached in and pulled out her blackberry thing to show him. "Oh and it's 2009. Some people are from different time periods."
