"Yeah, I guess," she said. She doubted it would be too difficult to explain to her family, but it would probably be awkward for Jon.
"Thanks," she said. "For flying me home, and talking and everything. You're the first person I've talked to about a lot of that stuff." She'd gotten a lot off her chest. Her family had been supportive, and they knew most of that stuff already. Sophie hadn't even realized that she needed to talk about it.
She walked to the window with him, pausing. "Um, Jon?" It was a little late now to worry about something sounding silly. She'd pretty much emptied out her brain at him. "Can we...pre-date? Like.. Hang out and stuff?"
