Edward had taken to the idea of precisely measured time, in this brave new world in which he found himself. He wore a watch on his artificial arm, so it didn't bother him but was always there. He liked to be punctual, and subscribed to the theory that early was on time, and on time was late. Late was simply unacceptable.
So it was five minutes early, that Edward and Angelica, with Elizabeth in tow, arrived at the garage. Edward's nerves were jumping, with excitement. He had a vague idea what he was getting in to, but he wouldn't really get the full effect of it until he was suited up and on his bike. He just hoped Angelica didn't object, when it came down to it.
"KK?" He called out, eyes scanning, looking for his friend, and the one who was going to get him on two wheels.
