Who: Kakia and Father Daniel Clemens What: Confession, breaking a Lenten fast Where: His church Warnings: Like whoa.
Lent had been long... much longer than she thought, truth me told. They said 40 days, but the bit about not counting Sundays really seemed a bit tricky. not that it mattered now. She'd set a goal for herself, and was damn proud of the fact that she'd managed to make it though. Of course, now she had to make up for lost time.
It was an amusement to her that she knew the schedule of the church as well as she did, and was able to time it so that she entered right at the end of confession. A quick sense for people was enough to tell her that the only one in the building was Daniel, and she locked the doors to the chapel behind her . Quiet feet took her to the side of the room where the confessionals stood, and she slipped into the one the booths with a green light, taking a seat on the bench as she waited.
When the partition opened to reveal the privacy screen, she smiled, listening as he greeted her.
"Forgive me Father, for I have sinned. It's been 2 years since my last confession."
She could only hope he didn't have plans for the evening... listing her sins could take a while.
