Soren rolled his eyes. "Give me a couple of minutes." He set her down gently and moved to the edge of the sand. Casting always made him feel good - alive, vital - and he smiled dreamily as he conjured the biggest ice spell he could. It was large enough where while he started it in his hands, he had to lift it over his head and push from there. He continued casting until he heard the ice crack loudly, a sign he'd iced the water over down to the bottom. When he opened his eyes, a good two miles on every side were frozen through to the bottom.
He grinned, looked at Henn, and backed up to take a running jump onto the ice, sliding and giggling.
