Integral's shoes hit the ground at a steady pace. She let herself get lost for a moment, not sure what this meeting would bring. She enjoyed her time with Kon, and thought he was a wonderful man. But at the same time, she knew that if she didn't try this, she would wonder forever what might have been, and that wasn't fair to any of them.
She paused slightly, before the entrance of the apartment building. She could turn back, call him, demand he come out here. She could be his master, keep things the way they always had been.
She set her jaw and punched in the code to open the door. She had said she was coming, and she was, dammit. Even if it killed her.
The elevator ride was hours too long, and her resolve nearly broke. But when the door opened to his floor she marched out, knocking loudly on his door when she arrived.
