Who: Kakia, Open to anyone. What: Super power! Where: Monte Carlo, Eden Resort, Casino Floor When: Early Evening, Friday [OOC: yeah, I'm in some weird narrative mood. shoot me.]
Kakia had specific rules about gambling. While it was one of her favorite vices, it was hardly any fun if there was no challenge, and so unless there was a specific person she was working on, she generally let Tyche have her way. It was one of the reasons she enjoyed casinos so much, no matter what her mood... there was always a hint of suspense in the air, the uncertainty of how the cards would play, or what would show when the dice landed.
Except today. There was a frown on her face as she stood at the craps table, watching each throw. She wasn't even betting, at this point, simply watching.... she could explain it at blackjack, after all - after enough years, counting cards became second nature, and there was always the possibility it was luck. But now... each throw, she knew exactly what would come up. Every. Time. It was rather disconcerting, and while she could see how it might be useful, she did tend to prefer to choose if she were cheating or not.
Whatever was going on in this lovely little land hand apparently broke gambling for her. She could only hope it didn't last.
As she made her way to the nearest bar, she could only hope it hadn't also ruined drinking.
