When she broke away, his breath was caught, eyes on her face, a quick search for any sign of calling it off that he would do his damnedest to chase away. But there it was, that lick of her lips, and he was helping her remove his jacket, arms lowering a bit, shrugging it off, tossing the heavy leather onto the floor before he was putting his hands firmly on her waist, pulling her close for another kiss. It had been a decent amount of time for him, even longer with someone who he cared about-or even knew the name of-and even though he'd shirk at the word 'love', he did think of Sally often.
