Damien had been using the phone to reply to messages, but now sat patiently. The ropes were discarded since the female guard was so kind enough to remove them. Of course, she'd made the mistake of glaring at him when he managed to remove his blindfold by rubbing his head on the floor. He was looking at her now. And she was looking back, though she may as well have been elsewhere. Like she was daydreaming. Then he heard alarms. He looked at his phone, then forcefully threw it up to the overhead lights, shattering a couple of them. It would have to be enough. Just had to.
He put his hand to the door, on the lock.. and it unlatched itself. The lights above him then cracked in their bulbs. He watched as a team of five guards walked swiftly down the hall, stopping once they saw the boy out of his bonds and holding the phone. One asked, "What are you, why.. how did you.." Damien did not want to bring attention to his most helpful guard since she could still be used. He just said with a shrug, "Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you have bigger problems now?"
They fidgeted with their guns, unsure for a moment, but then grunted, obviously frustrated. "Fine. We'll be back, demonspawn. Watch him, Susan!" And they began to make their way toward the door leading to the fire escape outside. Damien looked into the female guard's eyes, staring more intently. She was his now.. but he continued just in case, his face now serious. "Kill them."
The woman turned, pulling the pistol from her holster. She began to follow the other guards, taking aim and shooting one in the back. Then she fired at the second man. And the third. It was truly chaotic. They were confused and in sudden fear.. funny how death has that effect. The remaining two guards, agitated as they were, pushed themselves through the door and made their way outside. Damien sighed and pushed his cell door open, making his way to the end of the hall. "Never a good time as now to go." It was time that he took advantage of Robyn's distraction...
