Beth had barely opened her eyes when a strange object was put in her mouth. Maybe that was a good thing, though. If she'd had more time to think, she might have tried to object. As it was, she swallowed and then made a face. "What..?"
She touched the bandage lightly, wondering how long she'd been out. The last lycan she'd seen live through silver poisoning had been practically comatose for two days. Maybe she wasn't dying. "Hurts," she groaned. She thought there was an old bottle of prescription pain killers in her medicine cabinet from before she'd arrived. They probably wouldn't work on her, anyway.
"Lie with me," she said, closing her eyes. He probably had more to do. After he finished, then. "Please."
