Kitty wasn't sure how long she had been there. She wasn't sure how long she had been asleep and there was nothing to mark how long she was sitting. She thought about trying to phase out and test, but with the amount of pain and not sure where the door was, she couldn't test it without risking sticking herself in a wall.
She had more bruises and cuts than she remembered getting back in her room. They must have been angry at her for hurting them. Her side was a large ache and it was a little hard to see out of her right eye. She tried to take an assessment and thought the damage wasn't too serious, nothing a few days of rest couldn't heal.
So she waited, crouched in the middle of the room, trying to keep an eye to every side of the room, waiting for someone to open the door. It was the best she could do. Hope to ram them, get out, and hopefully away from whatever made it so painful to phase.
