"I was a bit more prepared, but yes," Henry answered, giving Gabriella a look-over once, then repeating the motion with a bit more lingering. His youthful memories of this woman being his first lover were vague at best, but he could still remember broad impressions of being with her, and he looked forward to refreshing those recollections. That, though, would have to wait, Henry thought with some difficulty.
Henry leaned forward, his earnestness and excitement only barely contained. "That is my greatest and most fervent wish," he replied. "That we are now both where we might be as happy as we should be."
He broke into a grin. "As for my caring and generosity... and my charisma, I suppose you will have to inquire of others. I care for and provide all I can to those I count dear to me, and there are many who seem to think I do well at my profession." Henry inched closer. "As for my abilities, you need only tell me when you feel ready, and I will be happy to present my case."
