Severus didn't say anything, only going for his wand and putting an arm around Alecto's shoulders. The pull was hard but the relation instantaneous. It hadn't been a very long distance, really, only twenty miles or so. Still, he knew how most people hated the feel of it and kept his hand on Alecto's shoulder until he was sure she had her bearings again.
The stood in a very old, very poorly kept old neighborhood by a narrow brook. The road had been paved right over stones and wore through at places, grass springing up between the cracks and bordering the street at each side.
