Adrian smirked bitterly, quite a bit of it leaking into his tone. "Let me guess, a government project?" It was pretty clear he had fairly strong feelings about the government. "As for what would happen should they arrive, I can assure you that there are enough heroes and ex-heroes here that they would be handled quite swiftly." He didn't reveal his own status as an ex-hero, however. No reason to go blathering a life story all at once.
