Elaine nodded. "Though I am not adverse to the sound of your work, that would probably be wise."
She was surprised at her husband's willingness to be so involved in the care of their child, though perhaps it should not have been so. Well she knew that she was a lucky woman to have such a man as her own.
Still and all, in her world, it was strictly a woman's purview to look after the children. And she was altogether glad that she had help.
