Beth tried to push back her nervousness as she went to meet Slates. She wasn't good at meeting new people on the best of circumstances, and lycans made her more anxious than normal people. During the days before the full moon she was nervous wreck, even in the comfort of her own home. Still, she wanted to help.
She headed toward the meeting place, pulling her jacket tighter around herself. The flask in her purse bumped lightly against her side, well-padded.
