Ophelia was very excited indeed. The airport was full of things she'd never seen before and once she forgot to move, watching the board with all the flights listed on them change.

It was so busy and so big and she was so very bouncy! She found herself hurrying to keep up with Darius and then she kissed his cheek.

"I can't believe we're actually going!"

Darius was always keeping an eye on Ophelia, making sure she never strayed too far. He didn't like airports very much. They were noisy and full of people.

But Ophelia's enthusiasm, and the prospect of a week spent hanging out with her in an exotic location were doing wonders for his mood.

"I know. It's pretty awesome. Here, this way. We're almost there." He beamed at her, gently taking her hand and leading her to their gate.

He bent his head down, and kissed her, his hands wrapping around her waist, just stroking her lightly. She was so warm and soft, and he wanted to be with her very much. Not just because she was sexy, but because she was so caring and loving. He wondered, for a moment, how anyone could break her heart.

Besides being in the wrong place at the wrong time...she is very easy to hurt. And she didn't really matter much, back then, to anyone.

Ophelia trembled and put her arms around him. That trembling feeling was back in her belly and she rather felt as if she would faint soon. She looked up at him, her breath a little uneven.

She didn't know what to do. This was so far outside of those old rules that she was completely lost.

Her trembling made him pull back a bit, and he blinked, as though he was waking up. It felt like he was waking up. "Ophelia?" His tone was colored with worry. Part of him was terrified he'd gone too far. She wasn't like modern girls who would just drop their panties at a moment's notice. For a moment he almost felt ashamed of how blatant he was being.

She looked up at him. "I'm...I'm all right," she said softly.

"It's just...I don't know what to do," she said. "For...for you, I mean. Or me. I just..." She blushed.

"Okay, I know a little but..."

Romance novels, at least the ones she had read, tended to gloss over details.

He blushed a little, but nodded. Okay. At least she didn't think he was a jerk. For a moment he wasn't sure how to proceed. "I could, um, show you. If you like."

He blushed even worse. Was that even what she was talking about? Damn, he hated not knowing things. "Would you like to sleep with me, Ophelia?"

Ophelia blushed a lot. All she knew was that she liked what she felt when he touched her, and she wanted more of it.

"I would, yes." That much, she's fair certain of. She touched his face, her thumb running over his cheek. "I wish...I knew more. For you, I mean."

His hands stroked her body softly, and he planted a soft kiss on her stomach, before going to his knees in front of her. He parted her legs gently, kissing her thighs as he moved closer to her center. A breath of hot air caressed over her soft skin, and his fingers parted her lips delicately. He idly hoped she wouldn't kick him. But that was a risk he would have to take.

When his tongue hit her clit, she cried out loudly, her arms wrapping around herself tightly. "Oh, God!"

One of the things Darius had never really been good at was surfing. He'd tried a couple times, but never really had the practice. Mostly he'd just listened to his uncle talk about the fun times he'd had while surfing, and stared at the flat ocean. They never seemed to go when there were any waves to speak of.

That was not the case on this particular day. The waves weren't large, which he was thankful for, but they were there. They'd rented two boards, and Darius was bouncing as he looked out at the water. "Okay. The most important thing is to keep calm. The second most important thing is to keepyour body loose. You'll fall off if you tense up."

He beamed at Ophelia, eager to play with her. This was probably the most fun he'd had in a loooong time.

Ophelia smiled nervously back, though she was a little bouncy too. "I shall try to be mindful of that..."

She had to admit, it looked fun...but insane. And he looked like he was having such fun just thinking about it.

So for him, she would try.

He kissed her, and waded into the waves. He settled on his board, floating a bit. It was pretty neat. "First thing we'll do is paddle out, to see what the waves are like."

Ophelia still couldn't get over how warm the water was. She balanced on her board, getting used to the movements. "All right," she said. "This is rather nice."

Darius just floated for a bit and nodded. "Yes. Okay. I never actually got this far. But, um, at some point we need to paddle toward a good sized wave and kind of, stand up. Without falling off."

He laughed a little, realizing how dorky he sounded. "That was helpful, huh?"
