To say he was in a hurry, would be an understatement. He really just wanted to get his hands on her. Make sure she was his again. He didn't bother with the door, simply honed in on where she was in the apartment and appeared there.

The whole fucking world had gone crazy... it was the only explanation. Her hands went to his shoulders as she pushed at him, but he wasn't letting her go anywhere. It helped, granted, that he was kissing her, and she really, really liked that... but she was still about to kick his shin when he finally lifted his head.

"Momos. I love you. But if I don't get a fucking explanation really fast? I will break your foot. I didn't go anywhere."

"But you did." He held her hand as he began to take her into the guestroom. "Apparently, this world? Likes to play tricks on us. This time, it sent some people into the future, like you. And it some people into the past, like Kia."

Before he opened the door, he turned to look at her. "While Kia was 12...relatively. You were...older, married and a mother." He opened up the door, and showed her the empty bassinet.

She was nodding absently at what he had told her, until he got to the last bit. Married - sure, that made sense. they both knew eventually she'd go through with that. But mother? the world was on crack. She was about to make some snarky comment about it when the proof of it was there in front of her.

"I... What?"

She blinked from it, to him, back it. "It's not... There's not.. I mean." That thing better be empty.

"Oh, well... that's good. We don't need that.... that anymore." She waved her hands decidedly at the bassinet, sending it back to wherever it came from, before turning to him.

"Alternate future, yes?" Her voice held just a bit of panic in it. "I... babies? No. No no no. I mean, you don't want kids, right? That's what Kia meant, then, with baby and ring, but..." She just stared athim for a moment, mouth agape as she tried to process... it'd be one thing, maybe if he wanted kids. They weren't evil or anything. She didn't mind them, It was just... "No."

"I'm calm. I'm perfectly calm." Which of course explained the rapidly beating heart and slightly shaking shoulders. With a slight groan she leaned in against him. "No, no. I think I've screwed up enough of the Mount's youth for one lifetime."

With a slight grin, she lifted her head to kiss his chin. "Could always have been worse then married with child, you know. Could have been pregnant and hormonal." She sighed, arms slinking around his waist. "What would you have done if I said yes?"

"Baby. Don't you think if I remembered having a baby, I wouldn't have woken you up with a kick to shin?" She had to smile, as she leaned her head back down, tucking it in against the curve of his neck. He knew her well. And was more concerned with having her normal than dragging her off to some sleazy chapel for a fake wedding. "Though... Kia remembers. So maybe I've just mentally blocked the whole idea out of my head."
