Jack was free of cast and free of bandages and free of the hospital thus was a happy boy. Screw all work, all hospital food made Jack a dull boy. He was still on medication, of course, for the headaches he was getting, but that too would pass, he was certain. All was sunny once more in the land of Jack Dent and he wanted to share that sunny with his Jules.

So, bounding through the house, tugging a sweater on as he went, Jack poked his head into the living room where Julien was and waggled his brows from a long distance, knowing the range worked out mathematically so that Julien would be affected, "Jules love, want to go for a spin to the park? I need to air myself out after being stuffed up for so long and I'm not going alone, thank you very much. Buildings fall on me and all that nonsense, and I won't stand for it if I don't have to!"

"Quite true. We all know buildings don't dare fall on you," Jack pointed out, taking hold of the man's hand and pulling lightly, "Come on, come on!" He bent to kiss the man's hand before bounding off to get Jules a coat and tossing it to him, pushing on his boots, "I've got bread to feed the darling quackers at the park and then maybe we can go out to eat somewhere! Or out for ice cream!"

	"Yep," Jack grabbed the bag he had put on the steps before asking Jules to come with, as he was excited, "We are set to feed the fowl, darling!" He grinned and took hold of Jules' hand for a moment, kissing the man's knuckles before starting to head in the direction of the park, sauntering along at a lazy pace, "So how is work going, darling?" Jack nodded, "Greg brought them 'round to visit with me in the hospital, like I told you, and Lord, they were precious," Jack nodded again, "Yes, we'll have them all over some night soon! And I'm so glad you like Greg, dear, he is such a lovely friend to me! I don't know Ray all that well but he seems wonderful, too, of course!"

	"Oh my gosh!" Jack clapped a bit then bounded over, grabbing the bread and hopping onto a bench, settling down on it near the edge so he could be near Jules while he was sitting in his chair. Jack snickered and got a piece of bread to throw to the duck with the attitude problem, "So darling, my Captain says he'll take us to the premiere of 'Bringing Up Baby' any time we're ready. "I can't wait," Jack murmured, leaning over to kiss Julien softly, "Jack knows him, my captain that is, not me, though I do admittedly slip into third person sometimes so I can understand confusion, but anyway, he knows him and we get to meet him, darling! Cary, that is, not my captain, I've already met him, but you haven't and that is really a shame!" Jack reached up to take Julien's hand, ignoring the ducks gathering closer for more bread.
