adikia, até, momos, timey wimey plot

Who: future!Até, young!Kia, and normal!Momos.
What: Collection of younger siblings, Ohai, here's your baby.
When: Nowish.
Where: Starting in Kia's apartment, and moving to Até and Momos' penthouse.
Warnings: None so far.

It was funny, really... explaining to Momos that she was from 4 decades in the future, and oh yeah they were married with child now hadn't seemed to bad for her, really. If anything, she was mildly amused. But the idea of Kia being a kid again through her for a total loop. She probably should let Kakia deal with it, but the moment Kia asked for their mother the guilt started, and it made her decision for her.

She planned on being there approximately 3 minutes, so left the baby asleep, and teleported immediately into Kia's apartment as quietly as she could, remembering the "pretty naked man" that was apparently in the bed. There were things she just was not willing to explain today. She didn't see Kia, so she only assume she was peaking. Again. Somethings never did change...

"Hey little girl... C'mon."

"We are in New York City, in America... which wasn't around last time you were this age."

She squeezed her sister's hand, and transported them both back to the Penthouse on Fifth Avenue, leading Kia down into the sunken living room. Taking a seat on the edge of the sofa, she pat the seat next to her. "This is my home... I live here with Momos. Have a seat, and tell me where you want me to start."

Até smirked lightly. "Well... that gets a bit trickier. Yeah, I live her. With Momos. Remember how I told you Time was acting kind of funny? It's the year 2009... which means it's been about 3000 years since yesterday for you. So you're from the Past... but I'm from the future. When I went to bed last night, I was married to Momos. But When I talked to him earlier, he had no idea what I was talking about, because for him, it hasn't happened yet. Crazy, right?"

"That's so weird." She moved around the room, spotting a desk, she opened the top drawer in curiosity, and spotting a box of markers, she stole them and moved to flop down on a couch.

"So, what am I like? Older me?" Opening up the markers, she started to draw on her hand.

This was the scene that Momos walked in on. The elevator doors opened and he came into the living room and stopped dead in his tracks.

"Five months?" His voice might have cracked a little, but he would never admit it.

"Kind of like that..." She grinned as she watched her start to draw, leaning over to kiss her sister's temple. "You're feisty, and fun, and impetuous, and spontaneous. You keep me from being too serious. You're flirty, and crazy. You like tattoos... and did all of mine..."

She stood up and turned away from Kia, lifting her shirt to show her the ink on her back... and was therefore facing the elevator when it opened. Smiling as she saw Momos, it quickly turned into a smirk as she saw his reaction. So tempting to mess with him...

"Hey, baby... You recognize Kia, right?"

The marker dropped on the coffee table when Ate lifted up her shirt.

"I did that? AWESOME." She stood up and traced the tattoo with the tip of her finger. When she heard Momos' voice, she looked around Ate and her eyes lit up. "Uncle Momos!"

Momos caught her mid-run and as she hugged him, he locked eyes with Ate over her head. He mouthed the word Kia? with a look of incredulous.

Ate just nodded, moving over to them at a bit more sedate rate. With one hand on Momos' shoulder, she curled the other over Kia, reaching up to kiss her husband on the cheek, lips sliding over to murmur in his ear. "You know... when she was cute?"

Stepping back a bit, she grinned, voice back to a normal level. "We were just sort of talking about what's happened."

Momos just nodded. This was just a little too much for him to take in one day. Stepping away from him, Kia grinned.

"Yes, I woke up next to a pretty boy and almost touched his penis, then Ate came and got me and she tells me that I'm pretty cool as an adult, and I drew pretty pictures on her! Do you think I'm pretty cool as an adult, Uncle Momos? Have I drawn any pretty pictures on you?"

His eyes went wide for a moment before he let out a confused puff of air. "Yeah, Kia. I do. You're pretty damn awesome as an adult. And no, no pictures on me as of yet." Her grin grew so proud at the confirmation of her awesomeness and she moved back to the couch and resumed drawing on her hand. "Can I stay here tonight? I like it."

It was really hard to keep from laughing, and Ate had to bit her lower lip a bit as she dropped her head to hide her face. "Some of us were different as kids... and some of us were exactly the same."

"Kia honey, of course you can stay. You know you're welcome where ever I am. You know, other than Aphrodite's court."

She turned to Momos, her hand on his arm, rubbing lightly. "I'm sorry. Kakia was going to watch her, but she wanted her mom. And I don't think she should be touching pretty boys yet. And you're really weirded out right now."

The Aphrodite's court bit stung a bit, but Kia didn't let it show. She should have been able to go to that! Instead, she simply nodded and started humming as she doodled on her skin.

Momos looked at Ate, "This is just too too creepy. Kia should never be little and you, you...look exactly the same." He looked at her closely, his hand coming up to stroke the side of her face. "Still beautiful."

She lifted her hand, holding his palm to her cheek. "Mmm... we were all little once. She's taking it pretty well. Better than I would. As for me... it's gonna take a bit more than 40 years for me to change."

She smiled as she looked at him, not really sure how to make it less weird for him. business as usual didn't seem right, even if weren't for the fact they had a 12 year old in the room. And there was the baby, who ought be waking any moment. She wasn't sure how to handle that. "What can I do to make this easier?"

"I don't really know, to be honest." And he didn't. He'd left the house this morning with a girlfriend that couldn't even stomach the thought of marriage and come home to a wife, a baby, and a seemingly docile Kia, which in and of itself was wierd.

Speak of the devil, Kia, sensing the tension in the room, piped up out of nowhere.

"If you two want to have sex, I don't mind!"

"Wasn't gonna ask your permission, pipsqueak."

She just smirked as she looked up at Momos, trying not to laugh at Kia... Gods, she adored her sister. Just then she canted her head, feeling more than hearing the baby start to wake up.

"Mmm... I'm going to go on the baby in the guest room." She reached up and pressed a kiss to his cheek, leaving it up to him if he chose to follow or not. She'd understand either way.

	Before Momos could say anything, Kia's ears perked up. "Baby? You have a baby!?" She got up from the couch and moved next to Ate so fast, "I want to see the baby! Can I hold it?" Momos grinned at Kia's enthusiaism, "I'll come with you." He still didn't know how he felt about having a child, but he still wanted to see her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Yes, yes, okay, and yes...." She draped an arm around Kia's shoulder, tugging her close for a moment, before pointing her toward the guest bed.

"That way..." With a light nudge, she walked toward the room herself where she'd already manifested the necessities of baby-keeping. In the bassinet lay the infant, just waking up from a nap. With a smile she lifted the baby out, holding her close as she took a seat on the guest bed.

"Hey there kiddo... good nap?"

	"Alithea. Or Thea, for short." She smiled at her sister... Kia being gentle with anything was weird in and of itself. After making sure the baby was calm, she shifted her up, placing her in Kia's arms, then stood, moving over to Momos and placing her hand on his arm in silence. She had no idea what to say. 	Simply holding the baby, Kia was silent, enraptured. Momos gathered Ate in his arms, resting her back against his chest and laid a kiss on the side of her neck. "So, how did I finally get you to marry me?" He asked, not taking his eyes off Kia and his...child. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Até sighed soft as she leaned back against him, tension leaving as she felt his arms around her, the kiss pressed to her neck, her hands curling around his arms. She hadn't even realized she was stressed over it, and he'd always, always been a relaxing presence.

"Mmm... doing a bit of recon? I'd hate to mess up the timeline by giving you an edge... I mean, we both loved those arguments so much." Her voice was wry... there were many, many things she loved - still loved- arguing with him about. That was never one. "You waited for me. You just... made your case, refuted my logic calmly, ignored my irrational fears, and waited. Like you do." She laughed lightly. "I think... you'll be a bit surprised."
