Almost imperceptably, Tobias relaxed at the words; not that he was really worried for his safety around Marco, but he knew just what they were dancing around, as well. And it was the one and only thing he believed could actually sending them to blows. For once, he just wasn't in the mood to fight. Especially considering even he was of the opinion that he was on the losing end, this time.
The question wasn't much better, but Tobias figured it was fair, Marco picking at one of his scars the same as he'd done.
"No. Ax and Cassie never made it. We found a stray fleet of Andalites, once, but they'd never heard of Earth. Had no interest in us, at all. And unless Cassie has decided to go completely underground, I've never seen her. Definately not on the boards." He assumed- hoped- Marco was aware Rachel was alive. At least in the abstract sense that it would save them that entire conversation. He wasn't proud of the way he'd handled things, in retrospect, but even so, he wasn't self-depricating enough to give it- her- up.
