Toki nodded once and gingerly lifted himself from Skwisgaar's bed, unwilling to leave Skwisgaar for a second. He stuck his head out the door and barked at a passing Klokateer to get them some goddamn booze or he'd feed him to 359. Usually, that worked wonders.
He came back and was glad to see that Skwisgaar was still there. He dropped beside the taller man again and tentatively put his hand out to run it through the other man's hair, careful and light with it, as well as careful not to touch his neck. His eyes were wide. He'd almost forgotten how soft Skwisgaar's hair was, how course it was at the ends, and how it always fell into the same waves no matter what. He chuckled under his breath. "I miss you a whole lots."
