Time does weird things, and makes weird bedfellows, but this was a weirdness Lavan could not be sad at... To know he and Kyoko had a good life and children, and even grandchildren... it was amazing! he was sad he would die and leave her alone and it bugged him to know he'd die, 30 years from now, instead of some strange unknown time, but he already should have been dead. He should never have survived coming here. But he had, and had been helped through madness and grief, and then had met the most wonderful woman he had ever dreamed of.

Kyoko Harkness.

Now, time warp, strange age differences, and crazy weeks aside, he would not let anything keep him from her. Anything!

Thus it was that he was knocking at her door, and smiling hopefully, just an half hour after talking to her.

Kyoko paced as she waited for Lavan to arrive. She knew this place was so strange and had been ever since of her arrival. But she still grieved the loss of her husband, the father of her children and the other half of her soul.
When she knew he was here, she ran to the door and flung it open. There he stood. She rushed to him and threw her arms around his neck hugging him close, tears in her eyes.

	Kyoko pulled back enough to look at him with warmth and love in her eyes and features. She moved her head closer and pressed her lips to his. Over their married lives, she had never grown tired of feeling him against her, tasting him. She stroked his cheek, a smile forming. She stroked his cheek, taking a moment to just absorb that he was standing here again, in her arms. Yes, it was the younger version of him, but Lavan was Lavan and it didn't matter what age he was.

"I've missed this," she said. "When I had to say goodbye..." She bit her lip, not wanting to think of it.

"Come in," she said, stepping back to tug him inside and close the door behind him.

	Kyoko moved her hand up and threaded her fingers into his hair. She had always loved the feel of it, her forehead leaning against his. "I am so glad to see you as well... it's not been long since... but it's felt like forever since I last held you."
